Energy Holdings Group Inc. establishes Renewable Investment JV with Korea Investment & Securities Co. (KISCO) and JS E&D

EHG Launches JV (Korea Renewable Energy Investment Corporation) with KISCO and JS E&D


SEOUL, Jan. 15 (Yonhap) – Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd. (KISCO) will participate in the establishment of Korea’s a new and renewable energy technology investment company, in preparation for the nation’s hydrogen economy.

Korea Investment & Securities will become the third largest shareholder following the Energy Holdings Group (50.0% stake) and JS E&D (30.1%).

The first representative director of the ‘Korea Renewable Energy Investment Corporation’ will be Park Hee-won, president of Energy Holdings Group, a specialist in energy technology, planning and investment.

The Energy Holdings Group is an investment adviser company for oil & gas and renewable energy projects such as solar power and fuel cells.

Korea Investment & Securities plans to expand investment areas by developing fuel cell power plant investment in various real estate development such as apartments, commercial buildings and industrial complexes through participation in the joint venture establishment.
